The New Doctor Who Premieres on Prime
Doctor Who will return to New Zealand television screens this Thursday 7 July at 7:30pm on Prime. This television triumph is the ultimate adventure in human race - gripping, breathtaking and action packed.
Doctor Who debuted on BBC TV in Britain this March with 10 million viewers. The new series sees Doctor Who, the alien loner and his companion Rose forge a friendship across time and space. Davies says of the new series, “The key word is fun”. “It’s funny, scary, fast-moving, adventurous, but above all the new Doctor Who is fun.”
While this exciting new series maintains the essence of the much loved earlier series, the new Doctor Who boasts special effects from Academy Award-winning effects house The Mill (Gladiator), and production values seldom seen on series television.
Doctor Who is a series not to be missed. Viewers should brace themselves for a journey full of exhilarating experiences and deadly confrontations.
