Fresh Snow For Opening Day At Cardrona
Cardrona Alpine Resort opened today to 5cm of fresh snow, much to the delight of over a thousand skiers and boarders enjoying the first turns of the season.
“What a great way to start the 2005 season,” said manager, Andy Chapman. “Fresh snow, blue skies and cold crisp temperatures – everyone’s been loving great winter conditions on Macdougall’s and Captain’s as well as hitting a few rails in the terrain park.”
Today also saw the first day of operation for Cardrona’s new $1 million ticketing area, retail shop and coffee bar.
