Carl Hancock Rux: Apothecarey Rx

New York City. A poet, novelist and musician. Friend of RZA. Drawing his otherworldly orchestrations and beats from gospel, Tibetan chants, Cuban rhythms, Miles Davis-infused jazz and New York-style hip hop. Welcome to Carl Hancock Rux.

Rux delivers an original voice: "This album is eclectic because black music has always been eclectic. (...) Music is a vibration. Sound just sort of vibrates - so it's a flow. It's continuous, it happens. There will be always this vibration. It was here before we were here, and it's going to be here when we 're not here. So all people have to be ready to receive a vibration and go with it."

Hold tight for the debut album "Apothecarey Rx" by Carl Hancock Rux on LOOP.

In stores late June.
