ASIA FILM FESTIVAL AOTEAROA 2005

The Asia New Zealand Film Foundation Trust is proud to present the Asia Film Festival Aotearoa 2005. 28 carefully selected films from across Asia will be screened at the Academy Cinema between 20 May -1 June. China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Korea, Japan, India, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Philippines, Israel, Uzbekistan and Sri Lanka are represented through the films. The Asian diaspora is portrayed through films from Canada, USA and New Zealand.

Individual Ticket Prices
Adults $14
Concession $10
Senior Citizens (+65), Students, Community Service Card holders. ID required.
Children 15 and under.
Members of Film Societies, Writer's Guild, Director's Guild, SPADA and Techician's Guild $10. ID required

Festival pass:- The more films you see the cheaper it is! In one transaction buy minimum 5 tickets, one each for a different film and for different sessions.
Concession card holders and guild members:- $9
Adults:- $12

Group discounts:- Buy more than 10 tickets for one session and get each ticket for $10. No extra discount to concession price.

Early bird discounts for individuals:- Book a ticket until 19 May 2005.

Ekachai Uekrongtham, director of Thai film BEAUTIFUL BOXER will be present at the screening on the Opening Night at 7.30 pm.

Anup Kurian, director of the closing night film MANASAROVAR will be present at the screening on Closing Night at 8.30 pm
