Live Auction Charity Event of the Year
Tomorrow evening celebrities, VIP’s and generous members of the public will turn out to attend the fundraising event of the year. The Royal New Zealand Foundation of the Blind (RNZFB) is holding its live auction charity event at Hilton Auckland. With an exclusive array of items and packages, this auction is too good to miss.
Guests will be greeted with signature cocktails and served gorgeously crafted canapés by award winning restaurant White. They will be treated to live entertainment by acclaimed blind singer Caitlin Smith as well as the soul soothing rhythms of DJ Ruffian and percussionist. The highlight of the evening will be the exclusive chance for guests to bid on unique and sought-after auction items, packages and experiences only available on the night.
Some of the more sought-after items include:
- International travel to Europe, thanks to Singapore Airlines.
- Website management and development package from Solutionist Ltd, an Auckland-based website system specialist.
- A 42Below package with cocktail lesson.
- A Carrington Lodge package for two with a set of golf clubs from Golf House and a Jaguar for the weekend.
- Waiheke Package for two including Fuller ferry tickets, lunch at Stonyridge Vineyard, spa treatments at Bliss by the Beach, and one night accommodation at Waiheke resort. To make the night even more interactive computers will be on hand for guests to actively partake on the online auction final bidding during the night. The online auction has been running on TradeMe.co.nz since the 10th of May and will close by midnight on the evening of the 17th. The combined results of the live auction and online auction will make what the RNZFB is sure to be one of their most successful fundraisers yet. All proceeds from the online and live auction event will to help ensure the RNZFB can continue to provide services and support for blind, deafblind and vision-impaired New Zealanders.
