ANZAC DAY PROGRAMMING
ANZAC Day, Monday April 25
Maori Television will commemorate ANZAC Day with a selection of hand-picked programming during prime time hours. These include ANZAC DAY – a six-minute montage film by Kiri Wharepouri that captures dawn ceremonies from Auckland to Gallipolli, MONTE CASSINO – 60 YEARS ON – a half-hour documentary on the 60th anniversary of the Battle of Monte Cassino, told through the experiences of veterans and survivors and SCIASCIA - an award-winning AFTA 2003 documentary in the Maori Language category that tells the true story of a mystic journey by one New Zealand Maori family in search of their Italian origins.

Maori Television’s premier language learning series KORERO MAI launches a third series at 7.00 PM on Monday April 25. The first 30 episodes of the series have been dedicated to revision of the language learning already undertaken in the first two series – allowing loyal viewers the opportunity to consolidate their language learning and erratic viewers to catch-up.
