Star Wars: Revenge Of The Sith - Tickets Go On Sale April 7th
Royce Moodabe, Managing Director of 20th Century Fox Films announced today that tickets for the highly anticipated film STAR WARS EPISODE 3: Revenge of the Sith will go on sale at participating cinemas at 10am on Thursday April 7th.
Moodabe said that tickets were being released early to the public due to the demand from fans and those wanting to secure seats early. Based on advance demand for previous Star Wars films, Moodabe expected intense demand for tickets to special midnight and first weekend sessions. He said that being the final instalment in the saga, people would want to have all their burning questions answered and know how the entire story pieced together.
The film, directed by George Lucas is the final in a series of 6 films which started with the 1977 release of STAR WARS EPISODE FOUR: A New Hope.
This final episode has numerous local New Zealand actors including Keisha Castle-Hughes, Temuera Morrison, Jay Lagaia and Rena Owen.
The film is scheduled for release world-wide on May 19th and will release nationally in New Zealand on the same day.
