Toddle Waddle round the Springs

15th February-

Toddle Waddle round the Springs…..the Round the Bays event for young children!

After much anticipation Toddle Waddle is back and this year the Meningitis Trust is inviting Aucklanders to put their best foot forward and join them in the largest Toddle Waddle ever to hit Auckland.

Sunday 20th March will see hundreds of children from all over Auckland waddle, toddle, hop skip or jump their way through Western Springs to help the Meningitis Trust fight meningitis. With the kind support of Auckland Zoo and MOTAT we will be toddle waddling our way along the short walk from Auckland Zoo through Western Springs to MOTAT.

Event Organiser Nicola Garland said, “Come and join Monty the Duck and his mates, Rufus the Red Panda, the Bluebird Penguin and the Paddle Pop Lion and many more of their friends. There will be giveaways on the day and we will send you a free fun pack with balloons, Monty the duck stickers, sponsor forms and meningitis awareness information. This is a big event for children and their parents or carers to get involved with and really make a difference. Every dollar raised from the waddle will go towards supporting the hundreds of children and families who every year face this devastating disease”.

Patron of the Meningitis Trust, Kevin Milne is encouraging people to join in saying, “Last year was my first experience with the Toddle Waddle and I loved it. It's simple, it's fun and it's for an outstanding cause”.

To register to take part in this special Toddle Waddle you can visit www.toddlewaddle.org or call our events team on 09 428 0828.
