a romantic night under the stars at the Stardome
Observatory.
Back by popular demand, the Stardome Observatory in One Tree Hill Domain, Auckland, is once again running its special Valentine’s Day show.
The live, one-hour show takes place in the Stardome’s Planetarium, an all-sky, 360 degree panoramic theatre. As the stars shine overhead, couples are taken on a tour of the night sky, combined with romantic melodies, poetry and stories of star-crossed lovers.
Hugely popular and very romantic, says Stardome presenter Leigh Findlay, the show is a great way to start or round off a romantic Valentine’s evening and a unique way to see and learn about the stars.
Sessions are scheduled for Monday 14 February at 7pm, 8pm and 9pm, with additional screenings demand permitting.
