Record Visitor Numbers View Sculptures
The latest exhibition of No.8 wire sculptures at Te Awamutu Museum is pulling record crowds with over 600 people visiting over the last 10 days.
The Fieldays No.8 Wire National Art Award is currently on show at the museum with wire creations from 15 semi finalists.
Acting Director, Debra Kane says, “There’s been some controversy over the placegetters with many viewers disagreeing with the judges choice, and taking the opportunity to cast their own vote for the Peoples Choice Award drawn mid January 2005.”
The Te Awamutu Museum is open 10 – 4 weekdays, 10 – 1 Saturday and 1 – 4 Sunday,
Admission to the Fieldays No.8 Wire Art Award is by donation.
