Life is a Cabaret Old Chum... Come to the Cabaret!

Jessica Robinson in the spirit of Cabaret

Don't Tell Mama that the Big Spender is actually Freddy My Love who is a Sweet Transvestite or it might upset her Rhythm of Life and get her Rockin' The Boat.

Toi Whakaari: NZ Drama School presents its annual Cabaret - otherwise known as Rocky Horror meets Guys and Dolls and then some... A light and delicious evening of fun where second year actors showcase an all singing all dancing spectacle.

The Cabaret got its start three years ago in the student common room at Te Whaea and has proved so popular Toi Whakaari is moving it to the Jimmy Bar at the St James Theatre.

The students recently performed at the Financial Services ball and received rave reviews. They also provided the entertainment for last year's Chapman Tripp Theatre Awards and will do the same at this year's awards.

Cabaret is a perfect night out for a group looking for a good time - bring along 6 people to make up a table. Enjoy the fabulous surroundings and access to a well-stocked bar and great café food, while you are diverted by the talent on show. A fabulous idea for a night out with the team...

Great pre-festive season entertainment that is punchy with panache!
