After a massive week of being bombarded with Ralston, Fraser, Holmes' abusive love triangle ZM thought it was time to add a little humour into the mix.
After being heavily inspired by the "Colgate Golfers", shock jock Iain Stables put out a call to listeners to get his hands on Bill Ralston's toothbrush.
On Monday 7th November, Stables - ZM Network drive host - offered a $2,000 bounty for the first person to obtain Bill Ralston's toothbrush by any means necessary.
The bounty rules were as follows; -
* Only one winner - first past the post
* Video/photographic footage required of the act
* The presentation of the Ralston brush
* Bounty valid until November 18
TVNZ were flooded with calls throughout Monday afternoon from would-be bounty hunters, attempting to bluff their way through to Ralston's office. However, it would appear a Stable's listener "bounty hunter" has obtained access to Bill Ralston's residential address. This appears to be validated by photographic evidence including a shot of Bill Ralston holding his toothbrush.
"I am greatly moved that within 24 hours a courageous and resourceful listener has risen to the Ralston Challenge" Iain Stables commented, "Having recently been inspired by our up and coming young golfing greats, Bill needs to know his toothbrush will eventually make its way back to its rightful owner when least expected. No hotel, Koru Club, corporate ensuite or toilet bag is safe. Its only a matter of time. I commend Suzanne Waddell for services rendered to the people of New Zealand, and will personally ensure the final chapter of the epic Brushgate - I promise."
