This Christmas, Village SKYCITY Cinemas and Rialto Cinemas are offering a limited supply of special movie gift packs, which will go on sale from 11 November 2004.
The adult and kids movie gift packs, valued at $49.95 and $39.95 respectively, offer over $100 (adult) and $70 (kids) cinematic value featuring a DVD (Ocean’s 11 for the adults and Cats and Dogs for the kids), three complimentary movie passes to see any movie at a Village SKYCITY Cinema or Rialto Cinema nationwide, a booklet of other discounted movie passes, candy bar offers and for the kids, Time Out Zone electronic video game offers.
“This is the first time we’ve offered something like this especially for Christmas,” says Lisa Chambers, Marketing Manager, Village SKYCITY Cinemas.
“The Village SKYCITY Cinemas Movie Gift Packs offer incredible value with something to appeal to everyone – from the person who has everything to corporates, friends and family. The movie tickets are also redeemable for 12 months meaning that the gift can be still enjoyed long after Christmas 2004.
“The summer season is typically packed with blockbuster movies. This holiday period is no different with a number of huge titles on their way including for adults Bridget Jones Diary: The Edge of Reason (opens 18 November), Ocean’s 12 (opening 26 December), Phantom of the Opera (opening 1 January 2005), Alexander (opening 20 January 2005) and for the whole family, Polar Express opens 18 November, Lemony Snicket’s A Series of Unfortunate Events (opens 16 December), The Incredibles (opens 26 December) and Spongebob Squarepants (opening 6 January 2005),” says Ms Chambers.
The Village SKYCITY Cinemas Movie Gift Packs will be available while stocks last from your nearest Village SKYCITY or Rialto Cinema nationwide or on line at www.villageskycity.co.nz. There is also an overnight delivery service anywhere in New Zealand and a gift-wrap option.
Another option for movie fans this Christmas is to purchase movie money vouchers at any Village SKYCITY or Rialto Cinema or on the website for $110.00 for a book of 10 adult movie passes.
Village SKYCITY Cinemas are currently located in Hamilton and Auckland (Broadway Newmarket, Highland Park Pakuranga, Manukau, West City Henderson, Westgate, St Lukes and Queen Street – Auckland City). Under development are new Village SKYCITY multiplexes in Westgate retail and entertainment destinations in Queensgate (Lower Hutt), Albany and Manukau City, opening 2005 and 2006.
