All NZ Records Struck Down!
The Rock’s announcer Bryce Casey (26) has smashed all New Zealand records for Tenpin Bowling Marathons by an individual, as well as Tenpin bowling marathon attempts by a team. Bryce struck the 24-hour mark this morning at 6:10am in his endeavour to surpass the current Guinness World Record for “The Longest Tenpin Bowling Marathon” (55 hours and 16 minutes.)

Bryce Casey has a Tenpin bowling marathon in his sights.
Craig Nevatt, Chairman of Tenpin Bowling New Zealand Inc (TBNZ) has verified Bryce’s achievement against all recorded attempts saying “What Bryce has achieved so far has been incredible and we’ve got our fingers crossed that he’ll crack the Guinness World Record”.
Bryce is not without pedigree. His Grandfather, Vic Sellars, was a New Zealand Champion Lawn Bowler both in singles and with partner Phil Scoglin in the pairs. Vic also represented New Zealand at the 1976 World Lawn Bowls Champs in 1976 in South Africa.
Bryce continues his mission at Tenpin Takapuna Bowling Centre, Fred Thomas Drive.
Rock intern Bryce Casey bowls past the 24-hour milestone of his world-record attempt this morning and gets a suprise visit from his Mum who flew in from Hawkes Bay.
