FQ Men Launched Today
Have you got shagger’s back? What are the 10 body checkups every man should have? How should real men groom themselves?
What’s fashionably hot and what’s not? What investments should you make before you’re 40?
New Zealand men will now be able to find out the answers to these questions and more with the launch today of New
Zealand’s first fashion and lifestyle magazine for men.
Launched by ACP Media, FQ Men is an essential guide for the modern urban man, covering everything from wine selection to
party hot spots, suit styles to skin care. It showcases New Zealand’s finest fashion labels and features highfliers from
businessmen to sporting heroes while offering useful tips and advice on gadgets, grooming solutions and sex.
In addition to grooming and fashion tips, the first issue of FQ Men includes features on soccer superstar David Beckham,
sports presenter Tony Veitch’s personal favourites, and profiles of kiwi exports, such as stock exchange guru, Mark
Weldon, who have come home.
“New Zealand men are proving to be increasingly switched on to fashion and grooming and their personal image. FQ Men
will satisfy the growing interest of New Zealand men in all things stylish,” said Debra Millar, ACP Media’s Group
Publisher, Consumer Titles.
“Men like Beckham, Tony Veitch and Mark Weldon understand that being well-groomed pays dividends – in their
relationships, their career and their attitude to life. FQ Men has been designed to satisfy this increasing appetite for
fashion and grooming guidance and solutions.”
A companion to ACP Media’s successful female fashion title Fashion Quarterly, FQ Men is a bi-annual magazine with
spring/summer and autumn/winter editions. It is edited by Fashion Quarterly’s deputy editor, Trudi Brewer.
FQ Men is being launched tonight at an A-list celebrity event in Auckland and will be available on the newsstands
tomorrow (23 September).
