James Erskine, Chief Executive Officer of SEL is predicting a sell out concert for 2005. “Rod Stewart is undoubtedly one
of the world’s greatest performers and we are thrilled that he will perform in this superb setting,” said Mr Erskine.
Rod Stewart is expected to perform songs from his extensive hit list including Maggie May, Tonight's The Night, You're
In My Heart, Forever Young, Downtown Train, Do Ya Think I'm Sexy, Have I Told You Lately; The Way You Look Tonight and
It Had To Be You.
The Scottish born singer is on a world-wide sell out tour titled From Maggie May to the Great American Songbook. It is
his first around the world tour in three years. He is currently performing a 44-city US tour.
"From Maggie May To The Great American Songbook" is a culmination of the legendary singer's impressive career that
recently reached new heights with three albums on the Billboard Top 200 Album chart.
Mission Estate Chief Executive Peter Holley expects the 13th annual Mission Concert to be the best yet. “Rod is well
known to all New Zealanders, he is a truly an international superstar and we know he will enjoy performing at our
stunning venue,” Mr Holley said.
