After a day of snowfalls yesterday the skies cleared this morning to a windless blue bird day with 40cm of fresh powder at Cardrona Alpine Resort. Much of Wanaka took the day of work to enjoy these outstanding early season conditions.

This shot says it all and was taken at around 10am this morning - looking good.
