Auckland Central City Libraries and the New Zealand Book Council are proud to present Stephanie Johnson, winner of the 2003 Montana New Zealand Book Awards Deutz Medal for Fiction, reading at the Leys Institute Community Library, Thursday 1 July, 6.00pm - 7.00pm.
Sharp-edged, sensitive and witty, Johnson is a versatile writer, moving from poetry to prose, to plays for radio and the stage. Following on the success of The Shag Incident, Johnson’s new book Music From a Distant Room promises another brilliant read.
