Museum to hold behind-the-scenes-day for Queen's Birthday Weekend
Take a whole new look at the Museum when we open the doors to our curatorial vaults and give you a sneak peak at the construction site for our new multi-million dollar Grand Atrium Building on Sunday 6 June.
Visitors can meet our curators and take a look behind the scenes at the Egyptian mummy in conservation, our vast store of bugs, plants and birds and get to see the giant hole excavated in the Museum's courtyard where our Grand Atrium Building will be constructed.
There'll be a sausage sizzle, lucky dip for the kids, balloons, a competition and much more!
Tours begin at 10am with the last departure at 4pm. Entry is $5 for adults, children free.
