“The Big Night Out” With Martin Johnson!
Martin Johnson, England’s Rugby World Cup winning captain is coming to Christchurch, Wellington and Auckland to be guest of honour at “The Big Night Out” presented by Tanalised in support of The Halberg Trust. The dinners are to be held as follows:
6.30PM WEDNESDAY 16TH JUNE 2004, HOTEL GRAND CHANCELLOR CHRISTCHURCH 6.30PM 17TH JUNE 2004, DUXTON HOTEL WELLINGTON
6.30PM FRIDAY 18TH JUNE 2004, HYATT REGENCY AUCKLAND
One of modern rugby’s legends, Johnson’s magnificent contribution to the game of rugby includes captaining his country to 34 wins from 39 tests including the 2003 Rugby World Cup.
Saluting Johnson at the “The Big Night Out” will be a host of stars including MC Paul Holmes, All Black of the Century Colin Meads, Peter Wheeler (England 1975-1984).
Erika Takacs will perform live on stage along with Raconteur Gary McCormick.

Hon Tim Shadbolt – Mayor of Invercargill, Simon Barnett, Bill Bush, Walter Hadlee, Tane Norton, Dick Tayler and The Christchurch Wizard.
