Cinema Circus Mobile 35mm Set to Screen

Cinema Circus Mobile 35mm Set to Screen

Cinema Circus - home of Cinema Circus, 48 Hour Film Project, Beck's Incredible Film Project, Film Marathon and 95bFM Film Review.

Welcome Media Hounds,

We're here to keep you informed on the wonderful world of film exhibition in Aotearoa.

CINEMA CIRCUS

The Cinema Circus is a mobile 35mm cinema (not video) operation that is travelling around the North Island screening incredible films in amazing locations. From beaches to forests to the back of beyond. There are even a couple of drive-in screenings at Alexandra Park in Auckland at the end of Feb. This is an international co-production between the US based Rolling Roadshow and Cinema Circus.

The final timetable and screenings for Feb and March has been posted on our website http://www.cinemacircus.com. From the site you can find out all you need in regards to our Outdoor and Drive-In Screenings.

You can even book tickets online for some events so you won't miss out on a great night. Some screenings are free/donation, the others are ticketed events. It would be wise to book for the Drive-In events below as they could be popular and we have limited number of tickets available.

FRIDAY FEB 27th - ALEXANDRA PARK DRIVE-IN :: The one and only Original TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE It has been called the most terrifying film of all time. Bring a date! Please note this is the original 1974 drive-in classic and not the remake in theatres at the moment. One NZ showing. Brand New 35mm Print. BOOK NOW

SATURDAY FEB 28th - ALEXANDRA PARK DRIVE-IN :: FASTER PUSSYCAT KILL! KILL! For one NZ showing only, Russ Meyer's fast women/ fast car masterpiece! Brand New 35mm Print. BOOK NOW

And to those who have asked. We have nothing to do with the Auckland viaduct screenings. Our screenings are outside in the green green grass under the twinkling southern stars.

VOLUNTEERS are needed for the Cinema Circus screenings. Nothing too glamourous or difficult involved just an appreciation of what we do and a good temperament. Reply to this email.

Feel free to send us any questions. We will endeavour to get back to you as soon as possible.
