A Dress, A Diamond, A Cocktail, Music and the GG

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

A Dress, A Diamond, A Cocktail,
Music and the Governor General…

An exclusive black tie soirée, hosted by Her Excellency the Governor General, Dame Silvia Cartwright, will be held on Thursday 4 March at Government House in Auckland.

In this major fundraising event for the Auckland Philharmonia, one hundred guests will be treated to two hours of indulgence: a private viewing of the latest Trelise Cooper fashion; live orchestral music by the Auckland Philharmonia; sumptuous canapés; and wickedly tasty “42 Below” Cocktails – each cocktail will contain a cube of ice which, for one lucky guest, will melt away to reveal an exquisite diamond. A small auction featuring luxurious items will also be held during the evening.

This event is a special opportunity to support the Auckland Philharmonia and treat yourself while doing it. The soirée, which runs from 5-7pm, has been organised to coincide with the third concert in the Auckland Philharmonia’s Vero Premier Series which begins in the Auckland Town Hall at 8pm. Transport is available from Government House to the Town Hall if required.

Tickets to the soirée are $150 per person, and can be booked by phoning Connie Clarkson on 021 775 020 or connie.clarkson@xtra.co.nz .

Special thanks to Her Excellency The Governor General, Dame Silvia Cartwright, Trelise Cooper, Michael Hill Jeweller and 42 Below for making this event possible.

The Auckland Philharmonia receives major funding from Creative New Zealand and a major grant from Auckland City.
