Come down to BATS this week and tickle that funnybone with Curry and Chops - from New Plymouth to New Delhi. Ben Hurley and Tarun Mohanbhai will make you laugh...

Also Mime International presents The Magic of Mime, not to be missed! Eminent director Robert Bennett hands over the reigns of the company on the eve of his 65th birthday. Friday and Saturday night only.

Tarun Mohanbhai, Billy T Nominee 2001 and Ben Hurley, Wellington's best Stand up 2002 are two rising stars of Kiwi stand-up gracing the prime-time stage at BATS. Take a New Zealand born Indian and a Taranaki, corn-fed yokel and pair them up, the results areŠinteresting!

"This is Fusion Comedy, a mix of styles, kind of like a re-mix, I guess this is mo' comedy" describes Hurley. Mohanbhai says "this is the shizzel nizzel of stand up, we've got mo' laughs fo' sho'!"

Join New Zealand's top Indian comic, and "Hawerian" turned provincial comic king for the cultural showdown of the year! Skits, live stand-up and perhaps even a Œtraditional' dance off or two will be sure to have you leaving with a smileŠand perhaps a craving for a good lamb korma.
