New Pre-theatre Dining Venue Opens at The Civic
Why just see the show when you can make a meal of it?
THE EDGE® announces the opening of THE CIVIC Grand Dining – a restaurant serving pre-theatre meals in the grand surrounds of The Civic.
THE CIVIC Grand Dining will open for the season of MAMMA MIA! from 5 March to 29 May, Tuesday to Saturday.
It’s been 60 years since a restaurant was open in The Civic and THE CIVIC Grand Dining offers the opportunity to dine in the exotic atmosphere of Auckland’s most stunning venue before enjoying MAMMA MIA!
“THE CIVIC Grand Dining will offer world class cuisine from leading Auckland caterers Austin’s Food Design Events in a gorgeous setting where theatregoers can enjoy a meal and be certain that they will make it to the theatre before the curtain rises,” says THE EDGE® sales and marketing director Grace Tsang.
THE CIVIC Grand Dining meal costs $55 and includes a glass of bubbly on arrival, plus a two course meal (entrée/main or main/dessert), coffee and petit fours. The menu will include three options for each of the three courses and a special children’s menu is available for $20 (children 12 and under).
Bookings for THE CIVIC Grand Dining will be taken from 1 December and can be made by phoning 09 307 5039 or emailing restaurant@the-edge.co.nz or online at www.the-edge.co.nz
THE EDGE® expects THE CIVIC Grand Dining to be opened during long-run seasons in The Civic.
