Hunt's Portrait To Be Painted For Competition Prize
Rt Hon Jonathan Hunt's portrait to be painted for competition prize
The New Zealand Portrait Gallery, supported by the Adam Foundation, is now calling for entries to the Adam Biennial Portrait Competition 2004. All New Zealand artists, established and emerging, are invited to submit painted portraits to compete for $10,000. The prize package includes a cash prize of $5,000 and, to coincide with the Parliament's 150th Anniversary, the winner will also receive a commission worth $5,000 to paint a portrait of Rt Hon Jonathan Hunt, the Speaker of the House of Representatives.
Entries close on 16 January 2004.
