‘Theo’ stars in Coca-Cola Christmas in the Park 2003
He’s been singing for 10 years, has written more than 15 songs, and is an old hand at performing in front of huge crowds.
But this star of the upcoming Coca-Cola Christmas in the Park is no veteran Kiwi entertainer – in fact he’s just 12 years old.
The talented young man from Palmerston North – known simply as ‘Theo’ - is a singer, dancer, entertainer, songwriter and professional model and he will be performing at Coca-Cola Christmas in the Park in Christchurch and Auckland.
Theo will be opening the Auckland show with Lapi Mariner singing “Shackles”. He will also be performing solo renditions of “Santa Claus Is Coming To Town” and “Blame It On The Boogie”.
Theo is New Zealand Samoan/Maori (Ngati Kahungunu), and together with his Dad and sister Dominique, he’s written more than 15 songs to date. In 2001, aged 10, he won a scholarship to join the Young New Zealander’s performance troupe; and the same year he made an appearance on TV show “What Now?”
His favourite artists include Usher, Michael Jackson, Justin Timberlake and Stevie Wonder.
When he’s not centre stage, Theo enjoys cricket, basketball, gymnastics, surfing, skateboarding, and hanging out with his friends and family.
