Community Fiesta For All The Family!
Hoon Hay Park on Mathers Road is the place to be on Saturday, 1st November, whether you are a local resident or visiting
from other suburbs.
This free community event from 11am – 3pm welcomes families and youth. A great variety of on-stage entertainment,
including well-known groups Fusa, 5th Element will be performing along with local school & culture groups. Members of the Rams Basketball Team will be shooting hoops with keen fans. Free entertainment for the
children includes workshops in kite making, soap carving and flax weaving, a bouncy castle, face painting and much more!
Plan to stay for lunch, with plenty of choice from the good variety of food stalls.
Organised by a group of Hoon Hay residents in partnership with Christchurch City Council Leisure, the Community Fiesta
is funded by the Spreydon/Heathcote Community Board.
