A spicy bhuja mix of short films presents itself this Sunday (with a little help from the Moving Image Centre) - featuring the polaroid-super8 Compulsion by Angeline Loo, the Fringe Fest winning claymation Man With Issues by Tom Reilly, Inbetween by Simone Horrocks, Faces by Zawardy Muhumad, Stress and Untitled by Ilan Kulka and the uber-cute western The Tortoise and the Bear by Maz, Olly, Kez and Rocky.
You'll only get one chance, you'll pay only $8 (or $6 if you're an MIC member, B card holder or a student)

2. INTRO TO DIGITAL VIDEO
$200 + GST and materials
Day one : camera and digitising
Day two : editing and output
An introduction to DV for those with little or no experience. The course is taught with Final Cut Pro 4 using Apple Macs - and skills learnt in this workshop can be carried through to other editing programs on other platforms. The student gets to grips with Mini-DV cameras and the edit-suite and takes home a final VHS edit. Basic theory of Digital Video is covered; this includes format comparison, an equipment overview, compression and decompression, avenues of screening, film-festivals.
