This week at BATS we have Wedding Speeches - the hilarious and moving solo show featuring Millen Baird and twenty characters. Wedding Speeches was the smash hit of the Fringe this year - book now to avoid missing out!

Wedding Speeches

Millen Baird has written and performs in this critically acclaimed one-man show which features twenty different characters at the wedding reception of newly weds, Curtis and Marion. During the one hour performance, relationships are examined, especially that of the bridegroom and his father Matthew who has appointed himself emcee for the evening. Wedding Speeches premiered at the SiLO Theatre in June 2002, and was performed at BATS in March 2003 as part of Fringe NZ - receiving rave reviews.

The hit improvised comedy show returns to BATS for three nights only. With its ³Whose Line Is It Anyway² style fun, MICETRO is a great night out for all. Each night the performers are chosen at random by the director to perform scenes, songs, sagas, and perhaps a poem ­ completely unscripted and unrehearsed. The audience votes on each scene and performers are eliminated until there is only one left ­ the MICETRO! ooooooh aaaaaaaaah.
