"Alinghi", The Swiss Challenge In Images

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

"ALINGHI", THE SWISS CHALLENGE IN IMAGES

GENEVA ? April 16, 2003 - During the Geneva Book Fair (30 April to 4 May) the Alinghi Team, winner of the America''s Cup on 2 March 2003, will present its official book, entitled "Alinghi". Through an intimate approach, photographers Thierry Martinez and Philippe Schiller reveal the one hundred people making up the team as the pages unfold. Enhanced by the play of colours and abstraction of Roger Pfund, the images literally plunge the reader into the daily life of the team. The photos capture in the heat of the moment the emotions that ran through the team - as a whole - and each individual that took part in the event. This book gives more than beautiful images of a sailing competition. Alinghi recounts its story to the world, capturing the imagination of enthusiasts for both sailing and great human adventures.
