Advance tickets to X Men 2 and The Matrix Reloaded

New Zealand cinema goers have rare opportunity to purchase advance tickets to X Men 2 and The Matrix Reloaded.

Hoyts Cinemas NZ Ltd will go on-sale for tickets to X Men 2 and The Matrix Reloaded on Thursday 17th April, to meet the much anticipated demand for these pictures. The film industry is expecting record level admissions to both of these films based on the strong performance of X Men and The Matrix throughout New Zealand. To cater for demand Hoyts have ensured maximum session times during the opening to deliver patrons maximum flexibility and seating capacity. Traditionally tickets go on-sale two days prior to the opening of a film on a Thursday. However the level of customer queries received via www.hoyts.co.nz, through our cinemas and phone lines, has lead to the decision to release tickets well in advance of release. By purchasing tickets in advance patrons have the opportunity to beat the crowds on the opening weekends and therefore secure block seats together with their friends and family.

Both of these Hollywood blockbuster films will be playing throughout Hoyts cinemas nationwide.

X Men 2 opens in cinemas 30 April 2003 The Matrix Reloaded opens in cinemas 16th May 2003

X Men 2 sees the return of the cast and director of X-Men to bring back the favourite mutant characters from the vast X-Men comics universe and introduces new characters, several surprises and exciting big screen visual effects. The film stars Hugh Jackman, New Zealander Anna Paquin, Ian McKellen and Halle Berry.

The Matrix Reloaded is the sequel to the mega-hit film “The Matrix” and opens on May 16th. Keanu Reeves is back in the role of “Neo” and continues to battle the machines that have enslaved the human race in the Matrix. Patrons will be blown away by the amazing visual effects.
