Ian was founder member of Th' Dudes, a member of DD Smash and Pink Flamingos. He is a top producer/engineer gaining industry recognition with countless awards at the NZ music awards. As Tex Pistol he achieved a no 1 hit with a remake of 'Game Of Love' and teamed up with brother Rikki for another no 1 'Nobody Else', penned by Rikki and winning Songwriter of the Year in 1988 at the NZ Music Awards. Ian spends his days in his home studio writing and recording most of the TV jingles you hear every night!!! He recently produced Dave Dobbyn's album 'Hopetown' and Greg Johnson's latest 'Seabreeze Motel'.

Recent years has seen Rikki presenting the TV3 music show "Get Your Act Together" and producing When The Cat's Away live album "Live In Paradise" along with countless other studio projects at his studios The Bus including engineering and co-producing Paul Holmes' top 5 album. 1996-7 saw Rikki releasing his debut album "Everest" produced by Eddie Rayner with singles "World Stand Still" and "These Dark Moods" both of which charted.
