Verona present a stirring collection of musical collaborations as they play with some of Wellington's finest musicians in a show for warm summer evenings. This week they bring their latest material to BATS for four nights of luscious vocals, warm guitars, swirling organ, hot percussion, and guests aplenty including Nigel Collins and Sebastian Morgan-Lynch (cello), Lynley Goodisson (voice), Murray Hickman, Jeremy Fitzsimons and Tim Whitta from Strike! percussion and Oscar Bullock (violin).

Their Fringe Festival 2002 show STORM with local string quartet Chamberpot and Radio NZ presenter Peter Sledmere received the Golden Horn Music Award. In 2001 they released their first ep entitled 'One' which made it to the Evening Post's R&R top 58 releases of the year. In November 2002 they performed with Marimba specialist Kristie Ibrahim at the International Jazz Festival and are presently in the process of recording their debut album.
