Final entry list for EnergyWise Rally
The final
list of entries for the Energywise rally 2002 has been
confirmed. The largest envirionmental event for cars to be
held in New Zealand for at least a quarter-century will set
off from Aotea Square, Auckland on Monday 11 November at
approximately 10 am, with class winners making a grand entry
into the opening of the Big Boys Toys show at 8.30am on
Friday 15 November.

En-route the cars will pass through Tauranga / Mt. Maunganui on 11 November between 2.15 and 3.40, arriving at Gull Lake Road Rotorua at between 3.30 and 5.00.
On 12 November they will pass through Taupo at between 11.10 and 12.30, arriving at Gull Fitzherbert Avenue, Palmerston North between 2.30 and 4.00.
13 November takes them to Wellington, where they will be parked in front of Parliament from 10.30 to 12.15. They will then pass through Masterton between 1.30 and 3.00, arriving at Gull Omahu Rd., Hastings between 4.00 and 5.45.
On the last day, 14 November, the cars will pass through the outskirts of Napier between 8.30 and 10.00, Taupo between 10.00 and 11.30, and drivers will stop for a lunch break at the rest area by Lake Karapiro between 11.30 and 1.30.
The cars will follow SH1 through the suburbs of Hamilton between 12.15 and 1.45, and the Rally finishes in Auckland between 2.00 and 3.30 with the final refuel at Gull Rosscommon Road, Wiri.
Winners will be announced after a dinner at the Centra Auckland Airport Hotel at approximately 9 pm.
