Virtual Spectator brings day two of the Louis Vuitton Cup to thousands

Thousands of yachting fans around the world watched all of today's Louis Vuitton Cup racing live over the Internet, thanks to leading sports animation company Virtual Spectator.

Virtual Spectator CEO Greg Young says the 100% New Zealand owned company is signing on over 100 people every hour as subscribers for its Louis Vuitton Cup premium 3D internet race viewer.

"Virtual Spectator is the only way to watch all the races live every day - television coverage only shows one race a day. We also provide our subscribers on-demand replays of all races."

Mr Young says that Virtual Spectator is now fully operational following some technical difficulties with US based servers on day one of racing. "Our team has worked around the clock with our US partners to make sure we were up and running for racing on day two and beyond."

Virtual Spectator is available for $US24.95 from
