Real Groovy" Album of the Month

How're ya doin'
This month's "Real Groovy" Album of the Month is a personal favourite of mine. Fresh Jams from Trillion. More info about the album below - Jody Lloyd, the beat maker behind NZ South Island hip-hoppers Dark Tower, presents a collection of largely instrumental down-beat material recorded by "various artists", all of which turn out to in some way or other actually be the handiwork of Lloyd himself, either solo (under various pseudonyms), in collaboration with musically minded friends or remixing other artists.
To make it all even better the wonderful Dark Tower are performing at the Temple on Thursday 17th October along with Christchurch acoustic rocker Lindon Puffin - this will definitely be a show not to be missed.
So mosey on down to the Temple and have a listen over a drink or 6, we'll be hammering the album for the next month and loving every moment!!
If you like Fresh Jams (and I'm sure you will) you can go into Real Groovy Auckland (438 Queen St) or Real Groovy Wellington (250 Cuba St) and purchase it. Or you can go on to the Real Groovy website at http://www.realgroovy.co.nz and purchase it, and it gets delivered to your door freight free, as with anything (except vinyl) from their website. (credit card or cheques accepted at the website). Worthwhile checking out the website for anything else you're after - very user friendly with a huge number of titles and a great search function.
If you purchase the album of the week online from Real Groovy during the week, you go in the draw to win a $20 Real Groovy e-voucher which you can spend on a selection of over 1,000,000 music, movie or game titles from Real Groovy.
