Destiny Television Wins It’s Battle To Stay On Air

Published: Thu 14 Jun 2001 12:33 AM
After months of uncertainty Destiny Television has successfully negotiated for airtime on TV2.
From the 1st of July 2001 the New Zealand public will be able to watch their own, home grown, New Zealand made Christian Broadcast on TV2, Monday and Wednesdays 1.00 to 1.30 am and Tuesdays and Thursdays 5.30 to 6.00am.
Pastor Brian Tamaki of Destiny Television said “We are thrilled with the news and I’m sure the huge volume of endorsements TVNZ has received in support of our programme had something to do with this decision”.
“We want to now get on with the business of exploring new and innovative programme ideas and we are committed to continue what has proven a popular and successful core element of the programme: providing answers, educating with life skills and taking on relevant issues for this country”.
