Sound Travels – What’s On At The ‘Horn

Well, it's getting colder at last and The Matterhorn garden heaters are on every night now, but we have another great way to keep warm and that is dancing, all our Djs are experts on getting your butt wiggling, so don't be afraid jump about at The Matterhorn this winter...

If your heading North-ish swing by The Sargent gallery in Wanganui to check out one of Welly's finest snappers and Matterhorn regular Neil Pardington's photographic exhibition SKYLIGHT... on until June 17th.

The Matterhorn presents Nathan Haines at Sub 9, on Friday May 4th, Nathan performs with his killa 8 piece band and has ample support from Wellington Sound heavyweights Fat Freddys and DJs Mu and Zen... and here at the horn we are loving Nathan's new album Sound Travels, make sure you support NZ music and buy a copy from Zen at Chelsea Records! By the way, love the mullet Nath!

And finally big congratulations to DJ MU (the panther) who took away all the prizes at The MPC Battle on Wednesday, what a night, and as our official MPC MC Mark Cubey (the badger) stated "music was the winner on the night" big ups to all contestants, especially newcomer Kendrix, who wooed the crowd with his killa 2 step styles. The MPC Battle was a legendary Welly night with a fab turnout of locals, and we'll be announcing the next one soon. Thanks to Smoke CDs for providing the musical prize.
