On the initiative of the Italian Chamber of Commerce in New Zealand and others (Brescia Chamber of Commerce, Foreign Bureau of the Chambers of Commerce of the Lombardia Region, the Lombardia Food Consortium), there will be a week of Gourmet Food Promotion “I Sapori di Lombardia” – A Taste of Italy – in
Wellington 19-22 March – Duxton Hotel
Auckland, 22-224 March – Duxton Hotel
This initiative will involve a week dedicated to Italian regional wine and gastronomic specialties which will also entail meetings, workshops and the presentation of typical Italian cuisine. The presentation will be made with the presence of a professional Italian chef and at the same time there will be an exhibition of typical products.
The Lombardia Food Consortium, in association the Brescia Chamber of Commerce, the Foreign Bureau of the Chambers of Commerce of the Lombardia Region, the Italian Chamber of Commerce in New Zealand, the Wellington Regional Chamber of Commerce and the Auckland Regional Chamber of Commerce and with the patronage of the Italian Embassy in New Zealand, undertake this promotional venture to present and promote Italian wine and gastronomic products on the New Zealand market.
From 8-10pm on Wednesday, 21 March a reception/tasting will be held at the Duxton Hotel in Wellington
From 7.30-9.30pm on Friday, 23 March a reception/tasting will be held at the Duxton Hotel in Auckland.
