Budd To Give Gardening Help

Former television gardening commentator and newspaper columnist Richard Budd will be giving free advice each day of the 138th Canterbury International Agricultural Show from 15 -18 November.
Richard will be at the Christchurch City Council's site each day between 10am and 4pm giving advice on gardening and landscaping matters. The Council will be displaying other activities, such as its youth work, water and waste services, libraries, Youth Council and parks. The Keep Christchurch Beautiful will have a fencing display and the Recovered Materials Foundation will have a stand showing how to recycle waste. A feature will be a watering hole providing fresh water and a display that will illustrate how to recycle water. Also included at the site will be a bank of computers for visitors to get answers to frequently asked questions about Council activities and explore the Council's web site.
