Wednesday 25th ­ The Domestic Lounge with DJ Koa. Koa takes the controls for a whole evening on the wheels of steel. This old school Roots Foundation DJ believes in balancing his sets with little bit of roots, a little bit of NYC house and a lot of style. Koa is Wellington¹s own Manuel Bundy disciple, who usually commands quite an audience in the back bar of studio nine. Join Koa for listening pleasure in a chic and refined atmosphere This Wednesday at The Domestic Lounge; paying homage to our dazzling local DJs.
Thursday 26th- Expansions with b-lo Bass Frontiers resident b-lo is our man on the drum and bass scene, his Thursday night residency at The Matterhorn is a popular weekend warm-up. b-lo plays all styles with the resolution that they be smart, sexy and full of the funk we associate with the ŒHorn. B-lo's dancefloor is never an empty one, try it out for a great alternative to the packed weekend nights at The Matterhorn.
Friday 27th - Mu & Zen Unwind with MU and Zen your Friday night Matterhorn flavours, there¹s a party going on every Friday with these chaps, who supply a subtle padding of sleek beats to end your week with a blast, pop in say hello to your favourite cocktail, and feel the woes slip awayŠ
Saturday 28th­ The Late Show with Vee and Clinton Smiley. Vee IS the party, a little bit of everything in his bag will get your feet moving on Saturdays at The ŒHorn. If he¹s not slurping shots from the bar, he¹ll be mixing it up with a supple blend of hip hop, house and the big party tunes, don¹t be scared though, Vee has no cheese, just sweet, sweet rhythms. This week Local Clinton Smiley guests on the wheels of steel, a little bit of house, 2 step, catch hem if you can as they run between The Horn and The New Jazz Transplant.
