Yippee Launches Kids Site For End Of School Holidays

New Zealand's only free download site is launching a site designed for kids - full of safe, fun, and free software.

The site, called Yipsta, can be found on www.yippee.net and offers over 100 programs - from screensavers and games to fun educational software. All software is available for free download, although some may be for a trial period only.

"Children's software has always been popular on our site," says Yipsta's Content Manager Jeremy Reynolds.

"By launching Yipsta, we hope to give kids a safe and fun website, and at the same time offering parents and teachers access to some outstanding educational software"

"And with the school holidays in full swing - now seemed like the perfect time!"

All software on Yippee and Yipsta is virus free, and independently reviewed by real software users.

In the long term the site hopes to expand, adding more content - including free unpublished children's literature for download.
