Of New Zealand’s $342.0 billion total investment abroad:69.2 percent was in the United States of America, Australia, the United Kingdom, and Japan8.1 percent was direct investment65.9 percent was portfolio investment6.1 percent was financial derivatives13.0 percent was other investment6.9 percent was reserve assets.
