Sprig + Fern Brewing Co. enjoyed great success at the 2022 Brewer’s Guild of New Zealand Beer Awards last night, taking home ten medals.
Owner and Master Brewer Tracy Banner says the annual awards are a highlight and she is extremely proud of her team for their medal haul. “It’s always special to celebrate; our successes come from the combined effort of the team. From brewing, packaging, operations, finance, marketing, and sales – everyone has contributed. As Master Brewer it is very rewarding to see our beers do well.”
The craft beer industry’s National awards attracted more than 800 entries across the full range of beer styles, with judging occurring earlier in the month in Christchurch.
This year the official awards ceremony was hosted by Emerson’s in Dunedin, with Regional Hub celebrations held around the country for entrants to stream and view the ceremony, and celebrate with their local peers and industry colleagues. The Nelson Regional Hub event was hosted at Sprig + Fern The Meadows.Sprig + Fern Brewing Co.’s award wins:British Ale
