XE Data Update - NZ Trade Balance Release

The NZ Trade Balance for April has just been released.
They came in marginally worse than expected:
NZ Trade Balance:
Trade Balance (Apr) $433mio surplus Consensus $450mio surplus
- Imports (Apr) $5.11bio Consensus $4.90bio
- Exports (Apr) $5.55bio Consensus $5.35bio
Trade Balance Year to Oct $5.48bio deficit Consensus $5.47bio deficit.
Last month’s Trade Balance was revised lower by NZD$98mio to NZD$824mio.
The rise in exports was led by dairy products (milk powder, butter, & cheese), and in untreated logs, kiwifruits, and meat and edible offal.
The NZD is little changed in immediate response.
