The biggest business membership organisation and employer network in central New Zealand has announced the appointment of two new directors for its Board.
The Business Central and Wellington Chamber of Commerce Combined Council have appointed Mahi Tangaere, Lawyer at Cottrell Law, and Siosaia Mataele, PwC Consultant, as co-opted combined council members.
These appointments were envisioned as part of the recent constitutional changes. The co-opted positions are available for a period of a one year term and are intended to encourage director development, enhance board diversity, provide complimentary skills requirements, and ensure member brand representation.
Combined Council Chair, Vaughan Renner, welcomed Mahi and Siosaia to the board.
"We are delighted to have Mahi and Siosaia join the Combined Council. They both bring a great mix of talent and enthusiasm, and we look forward to the perspective they will bring to the board, our members, and the wider business community."
