Bridgestone to reveal new fleet solution at Truck Show

A new commercial fleet solution will serve as the centrepiece of the Bridgestone and Bandag stand at this year’s Brisbane Truck Show.
The industry leader will unveil new technology that promises to enhance its Total Tyre Management commercial offering.
“Bridgestone Australia and New Zealand has been continually evolving its commercial solutions over the past few years, and we’re excited to be able to launch a new offering at the Brisbane Truck Show,” said Bridgestone Australia & New Zealand Managing Director, Stephen Roche.
“There’s no denying the importance technology is playing in the trucking industry, evidenced in part by the rise of telematics and significant advancements to safety systems that manufacturers have developed. Our stand at the Brisbane Truck Show will showcase our own business solutions technology.”
As well as Bridgestone’s latest fleet developments, the stand will feature a vehicle of a different kind - with Brisbane-based Bridgestone World Solar Challenge entrants, Team Arrow, displaying a solar car.
“Contrary to belief, there is a strong link between Bridgestone’s global partnership with the World Solar Challenge event, and the trucking industry. The low-rolling resistance technology developed for solar car tyres has direct impact on the development of the fuel-saving Ecopia truck tyres that so many customers have come to depend on,” Mr Roche added.
A full complement of steer, drive and trailer tyres will be on display from Bridgestone and Firestone, as well as a host of Bandag retread options. Bridgestone will also have a team of representatives on hand to discuss the Total Tyre Management offering and other services provided by Bridgestone.
The Bridgestone stand is positioned in the main hall between Meritor and BPW Transpec.
