Enjoy Record Store Day 2019 at Flying Out

Christmas? Boooooring… Birthdays? Pffftttt… Easter? Mufti Day? WhatEVER.

Here at Flying Out, there’s only one date we’re getting giddy for…
RECORD STORE DAY!

2019’s Record Store Day at Flying Out is going to be our boldest and brightest yet.

Not only have we extended our hours and stocked up on an apocalypse-survival-pack’s worth of the best records in the world, but this year we’re coming at you with a programme to remember!

In the spirit of neighbourly niceness, the good sorts at Pitt Street Methodist have let us set up an OUTDOOR STAGE on their steps, and we’ve roped in some of our favourite acts from 1:12 Records to make it a shindig to end all shindigs.

Not only that, but our mates The Beths are fresh back from the most epic tour ever, and are getting up early to come DJ up a storm for your listening pleasure! Not only THAT, but we’re finally in possession of the long-awaited reissue… Headless Chickens’ Body Blow! The record will be available to snatch up on the day, and we’re celebrating with some of the Chooks’ best mates DJing.

The whole thing is being made possible, and more delicious, by our good mates over at the classiest soda pop company in the universe: Fentimans NZ! Nothing dries out the mouth like frenzied record shopping, so Fentimans have got you covered. Sweet!
