This year, the Unleashed team welcomes Cameron Ford as our new Chief Financial Officer!
With over ten years of experience managing the financials for software and technology companies, Cameron and his team
are focused on supporting the growth of our business globally.
Unleashed has been continuing to grow the business globally, providing real-time inventory management for product-based
businesses for thousands of manufacturers, wholesalers and distributors across the globe. In the past year, Unleashed
has enjoyed incredible overall growth expanding the UK based office whilst investing in both people and innovations
locally too. In 2018, Unleashed processed over $7 billion in sales transactions on its platform globally.
Why did you join Unleashed?
It’s an exciting organisation that has a whole bunch of great people; I love the fast-moving energy in the New Zealand
office. Unleashed has also been growing extremely well and happens to be in my area of experience! I’ve always had an
interest in tech and IT so I fell into SaaS as the world moves in this direction.
What are your hobbies?
While I’m generally fairly extroverted, I do also love hanging out in my tool shed/man cave. But with three kids, I
don’t really get time for that.
Where in the world would you most like to travel and why?
Either Antarctica or the Arctic! It would be a challenge getting there but the epicness of nature would make it well
worthwhile. It would truly be awesome — in the literal sense of the word.
If you could have dinner with anyone in the world (living or dead) who would it be and why?
This is a tough one but I’d pick Albert Einstein. I’d love to talk to him about his thoughts and projects especially
about space and time, but I’d have to ask him to take it very slow.
What’s one thing most people don’t know about you?
I got married three times in three weeks — my wife and I had our wedding in Auckland then also got married in Las Vegas
and Armenia.
