Mark Winter will join My Food Bag as Chief Financial Officer in late April.
Mark joins My Food Bag from Fonterra where his career extended from Formulated Foods, to an offshore role in the Netherlands, to time spent working closely with Latin American markets. More recently Mark has been at Fonterra Brands as commercial manager for operations and supply chain, and is currently Fonterra Brands financial controller.
“Mark is an excellent addition to our team and brings a wealth of food-industry knowledge and experience to this vital role in a growing business,” says My Food Bag chief executive Kevin Bowler.
“My Food Bag has enjoyed incredible growth and we have over the years accumulated a huge amount of information around New Zealand’s eating habits and food preferences – we know Kiwis, what they love and how much they treasure family meal times. This information is constantly analysed to help us perfect our foodie journey and our product offerings.
“Mark’s insights and experience in the food industry will help us continue to create amazing recipes that Kiwis love and ensure they’re delivered seamlessly to tens of thousands of homes each week. I know he’ll be a great addition to the senior team and a respected leader of the finance team,” Kevin continues.
In the tradition of all My Food Bag staff having Foodie names, Mark’s new moniker is Mark Whitebait Winter.
Mark says he’s thrilled to be joining such an established organisation: “I have always admired the innovation and terrific growth of My Food Bag. It’s a great New Zealand-grown brand and the talented team have built a leading business. I’m looking forward to immersing myself in the dynamic home-food delivery category and supporting My Food Bag in achieving its mission to create healthier communities in New Zealand.”
